Terms of Service

1. Invite-only access & eligibility

The Service is provided on an invite-only basis to approved Etsy sellers. You must be authorised to act for the Etsy shop(s) you connect and must comply with Etsy’s own Terms of Use and policies.

2. The Service

Paamship captures paid orders from your connected Etsy shop, helps your team assign carriers and tracking numbers, and writes shipment tracking back to Etsy. The Service is limited to shipping and fulfilment. It does not create or edit listings, access billing or finances, or collect buyer email addresses.

3. Accounts & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. You authorise the Service to access your Etsy shop via OAuth solely to provide the functionality described above, and you may revoke that access at any time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service in violation of any law or any third party’s rights;
• attempt to access shops or data you are not authorised to access;
• interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or
• use the Service in any way that breaches Etsy’s API Terms of Use.

5. Etsy & third-party services

The Service integrates with Etsy through the official Etsy Open API and may integrate with shipping carriers. Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms. Paamship is an independent product. The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

6. Your data & responsibilities

As between you and us, order and buyer data originating from your Etsy shop remains yours. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process that data for fulfilment and for using the Service in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Paamship and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; no other rights are granted.

8. Availability & disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paamship shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Paamship harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and connected access tokens are deleted.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the courts of India.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
